Time is flying, and I can't believe we're almost in May! It felt like it was just the other day when I first met baby Luka last fall, along with his wonderful parents, Jamie and Bojan. Luka is growing so fast, and we're already celebrating his first birthday. I happened to be flying home to visit family in Chicago (also where Jamie and Bojan used to live). And it was a happy coincidence to learn that Jamie and Bojan were hosting a birthday party for Luka with their family and friends back in Chicago! We seized the opportunity to have the event captured of course, and celebrated a lovely birthday at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum by Lincoln Park. As a longtime Chicagoan, I'm embarrassed to say this was my first trip to the museum. But I absolutely loved the nature surrounding it, its location right by the water and the docks, and how it provided a beautiful and fun place for families and kids alike - perfect to take some photos of the birthday boy and his parents!
