I recently got to do an engagement session for a sweet couple, Rebecca and Oren. They unexpectedly met in December of 2008 at a Jewish social event here in NYC. They quickly fell for each other, but due to Oren's constant travel for work and their different locations, the couple had to endure some long distance. In recent times, however, Rebecca and Oren have been able to spend more time together, especially after making a home together in Astoria. They then made the decision to tie the knot! This adorable couple will officially wed in November, but we thought it would be nice to do a small engagement session while we still had some sun, and while the trees still have their leaves! Rebecca and Oren decided on Astoria Park as it's close to their home, as well as a place they often enjoy together. It was the perfect, cozy and scenic spot - right by the water, nestled in between the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and another interesting railroad bridge known as Hell Gate Bridge, all with the sun setting in the background. Rebecca and Oren were fun to work with as they did not hide their goofy side :) We shot amongst the trees, the water, under Hell Gate, and even by the all-American graffiti under the bridge. Couldn't miss that one! Here are some photos from their engagement shoot... until the big day!
