+ Sacha & Moses: The perfect recipe

wedding date: June 22, 2014

Something I love about New York City is the fact that you can eat all kinds of food, and meet all kinds of people. This couple - Sacha and Moses - embodies what is wonderful about living in a multicultural time and place. Sacha is Indian-Caribbean, and Moses is Korean - yes, we are all curious as to what their kids will look like?! :D And not only that, they both work in the food industry as cooks, and met on the job. Over the past few years, they were not only busy cooking with passion, they were also falling a little bit more in love with each other each day. How cool. Sacha and Moses are an adorably cute couple, and when they talk to each other, you can't hear them - they're in their own little world, whispering. Even their wedding was a total reflection of them: intimate, cozy, and diverse! They had guests coming in from everywhere, and they chose a quaint Italian restaurant and event space to host their wedding. It was basically a small Italian castle you would never expect to find in what was once (and still is a bit) a bustling little Indian town in Queens. There was lots of hearty Italian food and wine, and lots of dancing to follow. The bass literally shook the whole place! And might I add, the wedding cake was a traditional Caribbean black cake that was one of the most divine-tasting cakes I've ever had! Here's to Sacha and Moses, and many, many more years of cooking together! Scroll though to catch a glimpse of their love-filled wedding day...
