Although the couple wanted a pretty modern wedding with an elegant look at the Manhattan Penthouse, they definitely incorporated traditional Jewish elements and customs into their wedding, not to mention, having perhaps the most beautiful chuppah I have ever seen...

...This adorable couple will officially wed in November, but we thought it would be nice to do a small engagement session while we still have some sun, and while the trees still have their leaves! Rebecca and Oren decided on Astoria Park as it's close to their home, as well as a place they often enjoy together...

Vivian and Kenneth have been together for many, many years now, and have finally decided to make it official with close family and friends. ...I met Jason and Steven on a cold winter evening at a cafe in Ridgewood, nestled right on the border of Queens and Brooklyn. From the moment I met them, I was warmed by their gentlemanly manners, charming personalities, their love for each other, and Jason's snappy sense of humor. These guys actually met online! But quickly, they were drawn to each other and knew there was something not to be missed...

...Just recently, I got to photograph for Sarah and William again on July 12, 2014. They decided to make it super official by inviting friends and family for a cocktail party to celebrate their recent engagement at the Yale Club of Manhattan, New York...

...Even though they wanted to get married in NYC, Angie and Tara still wanted to stay true to themselves as nature lovers, and find the most rustic spot possible in the city. They decided on Wagner's Cove, which is actually right in a very busy and popular spot in Central Park. However the way the Cove is situated by the water past the trees makes for a secluded and intimate feel... 

...They told me about an old black and white photograph they have of Gapstow Bridge in Central Park, New York. The old photograph has been a part of their home and their lives throughout their relationship, and they used it as inspiration for their wedding plans. They decided to follow the photograph, and take their love story to the very spot that has looked upon them from a wall for years - how romantic!... 

...at such a young age, she had accomplished so much in her life already, including finding a partner who makes her undeniably happy. Charlene has a bit of an old soul in her. She wanted a very traditional wedding with a proper ceremony in a church, and wanted to wear the wedding dress her mother wore at her own wedding. She didn't change anything about the dress or the look - she even wore her hair in a similar fashion as her mother did!...

...This couple - Sacha and Moses - embodies what is wonderful about living in a multicultural time and place. Sacha is Indian-Caribbean, and Moses is Korean - yes, we are all curious as to what their kids will look like?! :D And not only that, they both work in the food industry as cooks, and met on the job. Over the past few years, they were not only busy cooking with passion, they were also falling a little bit more in love with each other each day...

...After numerous emails and a Skype conference, I was super excited to meet Lynn and Steve - a truly genuine and lovely couple coming all the way from Aberdeen, Scotland! As everyone knows, only Scots can make plaid and men in skirts look totally cool and classy... Lynn and Steve were no exception...

...one of the most important things the Internet has changed for us is the way we find love and develop relationships. I can definitely think of a few ways it has helped several of my friends and relatives connect and bond. I'm sure you can too. And I'm happy to have photographed for a couple who found love via the Internet! Heidi and Daniel met three years ago on Match.com, which brought them together, and eventually the decision to make it official...

...I love new and modernized cities. But I love old cities more. San Miguel de Allende has certainly polished many of its restaurant, hotel and home interiors with modern amenities and deco. Yet from the outside, you can still see glimpses of the way life used to be, of culture that still remains preserved... 

...It's not everyday you get to photograph two people who have been together around a decade, and can also call each other high school sweethearts. That was the case for Kristen and Casey! The night Casey wanted to propose happened to be quite warm, yet a gorgeous Sunday evening with a bright setting sun. It was perhaps the first weekend where one could say we actually had true summer weather...
